We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a supportive secondary school in South East London this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, psychologists, youth workers, or SEN professionals to gain valuable classroom experience in a real-world educational setting.
Ideal Candidates Will Have a Degree In:
Psychology
Youth Studies
Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Education or Educational Studies
Your Role:
Support students across KS3 and KS4 in both group and 1:1 settings.
Assist pupils with additional needs, including those with EHCPs, autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement individual learning plans.
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
Contribute to student progress through academic and emotional support.
What We're Looking For:
A graduate with a 2:2 or above in a relevant subject.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with young people.
A genuine interest in education and/or special needs.
Previous experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
A proactive, positive and patient attitude.
Benefits:
