Our client, a dynamic player in the financial institution and insurance sector, is on the lookout for a Buying and Partnerships Manager. About the Role:
As the Buying and Partnerships Manager, you will be reporting to the Co Founder directly and be taking a holistic approach to long term goals and plans for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead the charge in shaping the buying strategy for the fine wine and spirits category. You'll have the chance to:
Drive Category Strategy: Oversee the buying strategy for both retail and eCommerce, ensuring a laser focus on customer needs and commercial returns.
Innovate and Source: Stay ahead of emerging trends while sourcing new, innovative products that resonate with our customers.
Develop Joint Business Plans: Build strong partnerships with suppliers, negotiate JBPs, and create exclusive launches and promotional campaigns.
Lead Product Development: Spearhead the creation of their branded products, collaborating with trusted producers and distilleries.
Manage Performance: analyse product performance, provide insightful reporting, and implement action plans to enhance profitability.SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
Minimum years of experience in buying or category management within the wine & spirits space.
Commercially Sharp: You know how to turn data into actionable insights and drive strategic decisions.
You thrive on building strong partnerships and can influence stakeholders with confidence.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable in ambiguity and fast-paced environments, you bring hustle and bold ideas to the table.
