Are you an experienced investment professional ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Birmingham office, supporting a diverse client base and contributing to the development of innovative investment strategies.
Job Purpose:
* To provide portfolio management services to investment managers (IMs) and clients, in line with the Company's business objectives.
What You'll Do
* Manage and support discretionary and advisory portfolios for individuals, families, trusts, corporates, and charities.
* Construct and maintain investment models aligned with client needs and central research insights.
* Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure suitability and performance.
* Assist IMs in ensuring all client communications are actioned promptly and efficiently.
* Execute trades and create tailored investment proposals for new clients.
* Collaborate with investment managers and internal teams to deliver exceptional client service.
* Provide market insights and contribute to investment strategy development.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
What We're Looking For
* Qualifications: Minimum CISI Level 6 (or equivalent) and RDR compliant.
* Experience: in portfolio management for private clients including investment research, balanced portfolio management, asset allocation and alternative investment strategies.
* Skills: Strong market awareness, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with FCA regulations, TCF principles, and financial planning.
* Knowledge of investment processes and techniques with the ability to quickly become conversant with the Company's products and services.
