Key Personnel are delighted to be recruiting an Accounts Assistant for our client based in East Kilbride on a full time, permanent basis. As Accounts Assistant you will collaborate closely with the Office Manager to oversee the financial operations and administrative tasks of the company.
Position: Accounts Assistant
Location: East Kilbride
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,500
Hours: 37.5, Monday – Friday, 08.30 – 16:30
What you will be doing as Accounts Assistant:
Coding and posting of purchase ledger invoices
Reconciliation of purchase invoices to purchase orders
Coding and posting of credit card & staff expenses
Collation and processing of staff timesheets (workshop and site)
Maintaining purchase ledger
Reconciling Supplier Statements
Preparing purchase ledger payments as required by the directors
Credit control
Booking staff accommodation throughout the UK & Ireland
Organising site hire equipment, skips, plant etc
General office administration: dealing with customer enquiries, answering telephones, filing, etc
Supporting the directors with adhoc tasks and queries as required
What our client are looking for:
Experience of working in a similar role
Experience of working in a manufacturing / construction environment advantageous
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and Outlook
Working knowledge of Sage 50 and a job costing system desirable
Highly organised, efficient and able to work to a deadline
Excellent communication skills
Flexible approach to work including the ability to work within a team and support where required
Friendly demeanour, can do attitude and passionate about attention to detail
