Stores Operative / Yard Operative / FLT Driver (Manufacturing Environment)

Monday-Friday 06:30-16:00 OR 07:30-17:00

47.5 hours per week (39 paid at £13.28 p/h and 8.5 paid at £19.92 p/h)

£35,736.48 per annum

Lutterworth area (Own transport required)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores/Yard operative

You will be joining an established business within the Building Materials industry, the direct team is small and friendly and you not be micro managed - we are looking for somebody who can use their own initiative.

Please note, this is not a pristine shed in Magna Park, it is an all weathers roles working at a building materials factory. Therefore any experience in an Manufacturing or Building Materials Stores would be highly beneficial.

Duties will include:

Receiving, quality checking and counting incoming stock
Stock control - stock checks, counts and investigations
Picking and loading customer orders
Operating the Counterbalance FLT
Ensuring the correct space and weight when loading vehicles.
Using the computer systems (SAP) and hand scanner
Liaising with customers regarding deliveries and collections
Other supporting dutiesWhat you will need to be considered:

Previous Stores OR Yard Operative experience
Computer literate and proficient in learning new systems
Drivers licence and FLT licence - essential
Team player who can work to your own initiative
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Good verbal and written communication - you will be speaking to customers.What do you get in return:
