Our client, a prominent player in the nuclear sector, is currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their team on a contract basis in Burghfield.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing mechanical systems and components as part of a dedicated team of fitters
Ensuring all installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems
Collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines
Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Maintaining accurate records of work performed
Participating in on-site meetings and briefings as required
Job Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card
Valid IPAF Plus and IPAF 1B Licence
Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, particularly within the nuclear sector
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installation processes
Capability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
SC Clearance
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
