Role: Supported Housing Officer
Location: Newton Abbot
Salary £27,100

Supported Housing Officer responsibilities:

Carry out pre-tenancy assessments, including financial and affordability checks
Offer coaching and practical support
Assist with welfare benefit and grant applications
Monitor rent accounts and proactively address early arrears
Provide advice on budgeting, digital access, money management, and life skills
Liaise with statutory and voluntary organisations to provide tailored support
Help to evaluate and improve our Assisted Lettings Scheme
Supported Housing Officer requirements:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of housing, benefits, or tenancy support (desirable)
A proactive approach to identifying issues and offering practical solutions
Experience working with vulnerable individuals or in community-based roles
