An exciting opportunity has come up for a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team on a 9-month contract. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting core financial operations and compliance.

Description

Process and review daily banking transactions
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Assist with monthly forecasting and variance analysis
Prepare and post prepayments and accruals
Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Support internal and external audit processes
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies
Use Oracle for financial processing and reporting
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as requiredProfile

Junior PQ or Part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar financial or assistant accountant role
Strong understanding of financial processes and month-end procedures
Experienced working with Oracle.
Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.Job Offer

An annual salary up to £45,000 (pro rata) depending on experience
Hybrid working (2-3 days in the office)
