STOCK CONTROLLER

Location: Irvine
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent

A growing warehouse and distribution operation is looking for an experienced Stock Controller to take full ownership of stock accuracy, processes, and a small stock control team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll lead from the front - ensuring stock is received, stored, controlled, and reported accurately to support teams and customers across the UK.

What you'll be doing:

Owning all stock control activity, accuracy, reporting, and reconciliation
Leading, coaching, and developing a small team of stock control operatives
Managing FIFO, stock rotation, slow movers, specials, and damaged goods
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and H&S
Producing weekly/monthly stock reports and driving continuous improvement
Liaising with purchasing, sales, and operations to keep stock flowing
Supporting Goods In/Out and picking during peak periods
Overseeing stock held at third-party warehouses when requiredWhat we're looking for:

Proven experience in stock control or warehouse operations
Confident using stock management systems
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel occasionally
Physically fit and happy to assist with stock handling when needed What's on offer:
