Are you passionate about working with young people and considering a future career in education? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for motivated and confident individuals to join our partner secondary schools in Salford as Cover Supervisors starting in September 2025.
This role is ideal for graduates or aspiring teachers seeking school-based experience before progressing into teacher training, SEND, pastoral roles, or educational psychology.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, using pre-set work.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, maintaining a calm and productive learning environment.
Support students with their learning and ensure they stay on task.
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress.
Gain hands-on experience across a variety of subjects and year groups.
This position offers a valuable introduction to classroom management and school life. Full training is provided, with access to CPD opportunities and support from experienced education professionals.

Strong communicators who can engage and motivate students.
Professional, organised, and reliable with a flexible attitude.
Eager to gain experience and take on new challenges.
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous experience working or volunteering with children or young people.
A degree or relevant qualification.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
