Electrical Site Engineer – Pumps & Mechanical Systems
Kent-based (with UK-wide travel)

A leading UK provider in the design, installation, and service of pumping equipment is looking for a motivated and proactive Electrical Site Engineer to join their expanding site team.

Working alongside experienced mechanical engineers, you’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of pumps and associated electrical systems. This role is primarily based in Kent, but will involve regular travel across the UK and occasional overnight stays.

? Key Responsibilities:

Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of pumping and related equipment

*

Attend customer sites across the UK, with a focus on the Kent region

*

Assist the aftersales and breakdown teams when required

*

Complete detailed site visit reports and obtain customer sign-off

*

Ensure timely return of all reports and timesheets

*

Represent the company in a professional manner and promote products/services

*

Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are prepared for each job

*

Maintain company procedures and contribute to process improvement

*

Manage petty cash and a company credit card responsibly

*

Communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation

Key Requirements:

*

18th Edition (BS7671) Electrical Qualification – Essential

*

C&G Level 3 in initial and periodic inspection & testing – Desirable

*

Confined Space Training, First Aid, and CSCS Card – Desirable

*

Experience working with pumps or in a similar field service/maintenance role – Preferred

*

Willingness to travel and stay away overnight (typically once per week)

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Full UK Driving Licence
