They are a specialist Fire Safety Contractor, proudly serving the social housing sector across London and the surrounding areas. Our clients include leading Social Housing Contractors, Housing Associations, and Local Authorities. With a strong reputation for delivering compliant, high-quality fire safety solutions, we are expanding and looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of our fire safety projects – including fire door installation, compartmentation works, and other passive fire protection services. You’ll work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure financial control, contractual compliance, and timely delivery across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions

*

Managing project valuations, variations, and final accounts

*

Ensuring accurate cost reporting and forecasting

*

Supporting contract negotiation and dispute resolution

*

Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

*

Ensuring compliance with fire safety standards and industry regulations

*

Attending client and site meetings across London

Requirements:

*

Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field

*

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a QS role, ideally within fire safety, construction, or building services

*

Strong understanding of social housing frameworks and public sector procurement

*

Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills

*

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

*

A proactive approach and attention to detail

*

Full UK driving licence preferred
