Social Worker – Court Team

Rate: £39.04 per hour

Contract: Locum, Full-Time (36 hours per week)

Ealing are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Court Team. If you know your way around care proceedings, court statements, and the odd late night prepping bundles (let’s be honest), this is one for you.

Caseloads are capped at 12 and the team is known for having strong management and a fair setup — no sugar-coating, the work’s still demanding, but you’ll have room to breathe and a team that gets it.

The role will include:

Managing care proceedings from issue through to final hearing

Writing high-quality court statements, assessments and care plans

Working closely with legal teams, guardians, and court professionals

Attending and contributing to hearings and legal planning meetings

Direct work with families, ensuring the child’s voice is heard throughout

What they’re after:

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration

Solid court experience, including writing and presenting statements

Someone confident, organised, and able to hold risk safely

Experience in a London borough is preferred but not essential

£39.04 per hour

Caseload capped at 12

2 days per week in the office

Long-term locum contract with immediate start available
