We're Hiring: Senior Management Accountant (Leeds).

E & M Talent Partners are currently supporting one of UK’s largest privately owned utilities and infrastructure businesses who due to expansion are looking to add a highly experienced, Senior Management Accountant to their busy finance function.

Formed in the early 90’s, and £500m turnover with 4000 staff, this is an excellent opportunity to continue your career with a company that continues to expand their market share.

You will be responsible for managing a team of 6 x Assistant Accountants and 1 x Cashier so must have previous experience in management.

Responsibilities will include:

* Production of monthly management accounts inc journal postings

* Oversee daily cash posting, bank recs and weekly cash reports

* Monthly bank reconciliations

* Budgets and variance analysis

* Some business partnering with internal managers to drive improvements

* Nominal coding

* Year end accounts prep, financial statements, balance sheet, income statements.

* Analysis of sales

* Fixed assets

* Working with auditors

To be considered for this role, you would ideally be Part Qualified however we will consider those qualified by (significant) experience.

Salary on offer: Circa £50,000pa (dependant on experience)
