Sewell Wallis is delighted to be working with a brilliant, well-established company based in Leeds City Centre, who are currently recruiting for a Banking Specialist to join their team on a FTC contract for 6 months with a possibility of extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Cashier or Banking Specialist to join a fast-paced role within a reputable West Yorkshire law firm.

What will you be doing?

Daily posting of cash receipts on client account and office account across EMEA.
Draw down electronic payments from the banking platforms.
Posting of cash on client account and office account in accordance with SAR.
Performing small balance write offs as needed.
Researching unidentified cash receipts and the processing of them in accordance with SAR.
Performing daily bank recs on all accounts across EMEA.What skills are we looking for?

Detailed knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules ("SAR").
Ability to work under pressure.
Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
