Job Title: Painter
Location: Grays, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay: £14.50 per hour
Purpose
To prepare, paint and finish access equipment and components to a high standard, ensuring a durable, professional appearance and protection of all surfaces.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare machines and components by cleaning, sanding, masking and carrying out minor surface repairs.

Mix and apply primers, topcoats and protective coatings using spray equipment, brushes and rollers.

Ensure all work meets required quality standards for finish, colour match and coverage.

Follow job cards and schedules to support efficient turnaround of equipment.

Maintain painting equipment, spray guns and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

Work safely at all times, following company health and safety procedures and using appropriate PPE.
What We Need From You

Previous experience as an industrial painter, vehicle refinisher or painter & decorator.

Confident using spray equipment and able to mix paints and coatings correctly.

Good attention to detail and pride in delivering a high-quality finish.

Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.

Reliable, punctual and able to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
