A well-established, privately owned housebuilder is looking to appoint a fully fledged Contracts Manager to oversee multiple residential projects across North to Mid Kent.

This role is not suitable for step-up candidates. The business requires an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong main contractor background, capable of managing teams, programmes, and site performance autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

Overall delivery responsibility for multiple residential sites

*

Managing, mentoring, and supporting Site Managers and project teams

*

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to budget, and to quality standards

*

Driving build quality, productivity, and compliance across all sites

*

Conducting regular site visits, audits, and progress reviews

*

Working closely with commercial, technical, and senior management teams

*

Reporting on site performance, programme, and risk to senior leadership

Requirements (Essential)

*

Proven experience operating as a Contracts Manager within residential construction

*

Main contractor background is essential

*

Experience managing multiple live sites concurrently

*

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

*

Technically strong with a hands-on management style

*

Must live in North or Mid Kent
