Quality Engineer

Job Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm & Friday 7.30am – 1pm

Benefits: 25 days Holiday + Bank holidays; Company sick pay; Auto-enrolment pension; Annual salary review

An established industrial manufacturer looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure our products meet the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional or a quality engineer ready to step up into management.

Duties will include;

* Shape and implement quality policies to meet customer & business needs

* Drive compliance with ISO standards through our Quality Management System

* Lead product testing, inspections, and root cause analysis

* Manage supplier quality, customer complaints, RMAs, and warranty claims

* Conduct internal, customer, and supplier audits

The successful applicant will possess;

* Proven experience in quality engineering or management

* Strong knowledge of ISO standards

* Background in production/manufacturing/engineering environments

* Assembly production knowledge (advantageous)

* Excellent attention to detail & communication skills
