Are you a Procurement professional looking for the next challenge in your career? My client is looking for a Strategic Procurement Business Partner who can take responsibility for the strategic delivery and management of key stakeholder agreements. You will be directly involved in all aspects of the commissioning cycle, analysing the market and developing business cases.

As the Strategic Procurement Business Partner you will be tasked with delivering a consistent approach to contract management. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure supplier relationships are maximised to benefit long-term relationships.

Key responsibilities of the Strategic Procurement Business Partner

Provide strategic leadership on all aspects of procurement and commercial management across the relevant portfolio
Lead on strategic procurement projects and support the delivery of service strategies
Day to day running of high value, high risk contract opportunities
Maintain awareness of market developments to enable informed decisions regarding optimum routes to procurement
Provide insights into procurement and commercial elements of commissioning activities
Work with stakeholders to develop best practice commissioning management

Required skills and experience of the Strategic Procurement Business Partner

Previous experience within a public sector procurement role
Extensive knowledge of procurement regulations (PCR15 & PA23)
Experience of managing budgets and ensuring delivery within agreed resources
Previous experience of service planning and delivery
Strong stakeholder relationship skills
Ideally CIPS certified
