Main Purpose of the Job:
You will provide confidential administrative support to the Chief Executive, the Chairman, and the members of the Governing Board. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a vibrant organisation while enhancing your skills and gaining valuable experience.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Managing all communications, monitoring correspondence, and distributing tasks as required.
Maintaining the Chief Executive's diary, ensuring effective scheduling of appointments.
Preparing weekly itineraries and managing monthly expense submissions.
Monitoring requests for scientific papers via Research Gate.
organising travel and accommodation arrangements for the Chief Executive.
Coordinating internal meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
Designing and maintaining effective administration systems to support the Chief Executive.
Providing administrative support to the Governing Board, including attending meetings and recording minutes.
What You Bring to the Table:
Experience: - Significant experience in providing PA/administration support to senior management.
- Familiarity with project administration and document management.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines.
- Experience within a higher education or research organisation is desirable.
Skills: - Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in database management.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong planning, prioritising, and organisational abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
