Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Bury to recruit a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to work two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays). This part-time role will run until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to pick up additional supply or cover work on other days if desired.

The Role

Teaching a Year 6 class on Thursdays and Fridays, delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Supporting pupils in the lead-up to their end-of-year assessments and transition to secondary school.
Working closely with the parallel Year 6 teacher and wider KS2 team to ensure consistency and high standards.The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 6.
Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong assessment skills.
Is organised, flexible and able to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
