Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary (Complex Needs)
Location: Bedford and surrounding areas
Pay: £95-£100 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only
Contract: Long-term roles with temp-to-perm potential

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in SEN support? Tradewind is looking for skilled professionals to join our network of Bedfordshire primary schools, supporting pupils with complex needs in mainstream settings.

We're working with a range of inclusive schools across Bedford, Kempston, Biggleswade and nearby areas, who are seeking confident and adaptable TAs ready to step into long-term roles. You'll be supporting children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and physical disabilities - working both 1:1 and in small groups to provide personalised support and promote engagement in learning.

What you'll be doing:

Delivering targeted SEN support in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 settings

Implementing EHCP strategies in collaboration with teaching and SEN teams

Supporting regulation, communication and independence

Contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment

Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families

What we're looking for:

Minimum of 1 year experience as a TA, ideally in SEN or inclusion settings

Confidence supporting a range of complex needs

A calm, proactive and team-focused approach

Strong knowledge of primary education and behaviour support strategies
