Are you confident, adaptable, and looking to gain valuable school-based experience? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Corby area, currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You'll be delivering pre-prepared work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students stay on task. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are keen to gain experience in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising classes during teacher absences

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

Supporting students with their learning by answering questions and promoting engagement

Providing feedback to teaching staff on student participation and conduct

Ensuring a safe, respectful, and positive learning environment

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with young people (in any setting)

Be confident, proactive, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Be flexible and willing to cover a range of subjects

Hold a DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
