Catering Manager - School

Location: Cambridge

Salary: 40K

Contract: Full-time, 52 weeks (plus occasional weekends)

Are you passionate about delivering healthy, nutritious meals and creating a positive dining experience for young people? We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to lead our school kitchen and catering team.

About the Role

As Catering Manager, you will:

Oversee the day-to-day running of the school kitchen.
Plan and prepare balanced, appealing menus in line with nutritional standards.
Manage stock control, ordering, and budgets effectively.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of catering staff.
Work closely with school leadership to support special events and initiatives.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in catering management (school or similar environment preferred).
Holds a Level 3 Food Safety qualification (or willing to achieve).
Is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage budgets.
Enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
