We’re looking for an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Barnet. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups (Key Stages 3–5), manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students stay engaged and focused. Each day offers something different — a chance to develop your leadership skills, build strong relationships, and gain valuable experience in education.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervising classes during teacher absences, following provided lesson plans

• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere

• Encouraging participation and supporting student progress

• Assisting with general school duties and activities where needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Confident, adaptable, and professional in classroom settings

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Previous school experience or a desire to pursue a teaching career
