Multi-Skilled Engineer – Elec Bias
Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Rotation shift pattern (12-hour shifts) AND Banked hours system
Up to £55,000 DOE
The Role
Maintain a safe working environment at all times within our food processing facilities.
Maximise equipment availability by responding safely and effectively to breakdowns.
Support the manufacturing process to ensure continuous production.
Ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard.
Carry out planned, routine, and reactive maintenance and repair work on all equipment.
Maintain and continuously update technical skills and knowledge.
Possess a strong multi-skilled background with an electrical bias, with the ability to identify root causes of machine breakdowns and develop long-term engineering solutions.
Identify potential issues with existing equipment and implement effective solutions.
The Person
Multi-skilled with an electrical bias.
Experience within FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environments.
Knowledge of operational standards to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and processes.
Preferred: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and Electrical/Mechanical qualifications (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
Preferred: HACCP, Food Safety, and Hygiene certifications.
