About the Role
We are looking for a driven and relationship-focused Client Development Manager to join our team. This role is all about managing and growing client relationships, ensuring they receive top-rated service, and identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement and growth.
You’ll act as the main point of contact for key clients — understanding their specific needs, resolving issues quickly and effectively, and ensuring that small problems never become big ones. Alongside maintaining strong existing partnerships, you’ll also develop a pipeline of new business from current contacts and new leads.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and develop strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Understand each client’s unique requirements and tailor our services accordingly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively — we’re judged on how we resolve, not how we react.
• Proactively identify and prevent potential service issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
• Develop and grow existing client accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Maintain an active and healthy pipeline of business prospects.
• Provide regular updates and reports on client activity, performance, and growth.

• Proven experience in account management, client development, or customer success.
• IT literate with confidence using CRM systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Strong team player who also works effectively on their own initiative.
• Highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proven track record of achieving results.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• References required.
Good to Have
• Knowledge or background in plumbing and drainage services.
• Understanding of the facilities management or property maintenance sectors.
