Location: Enfield
Pay: £16.00 per hour (Days)
Nights: 20% uplift
Overtime: £24.00 per hour after 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights Rotation)

We’re recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver / Drainage Engineer to join a busy, growing drainage and utilities team. This role offers a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy hands-on work and want long-term, stable employment with excellent pay and benefits.

About the Role:
This is not just a driving job — you’ll play an active role as part of a two-person team, supporting essential drainage maintenance work across various sites. Your duties will include:

Driving Class 2 vehicles to and from work sites

*

Helping to clear drain blockages using specialist equipment

*

Assisting with inspections and identifying any remedial work required

*

Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

*

Maintaining accurate records of work carried out

*

Working both day and night shifts on a 4 on / 4 off rota

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card

* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

* Reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player

* Previous drainage or utilities experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided

What’s on Offer:
