Production Operative

Pertemps are recruiting for a client in the FMCG sector, located in Foston Dove Valley Park (DE65).

We are looking to fill a Production Operative position on a fixed-term contract from March 2026 to October 2026.

Production Operative responsibilities will include:

Setting up, cleaning, and operating bottling, filling, and labelling equipment while ensuring efficiency.
Maintaining quality in line with company standards, prioritising health, safety, and hygiene.
Feeding all line equipment with necessary materials.
Monitoring stock levels and collaborating with the production supervision team to resolve any issues.
The Production Operative candidate will:

Work rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights) between Monday to Saturday (3-4 shifts per week with working hours 06:00 - 18:00 / 18:00 - 06:00), averaging 42 hours per week. 
Have at least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in bottling line machinery.
Have previous experience operating filler and/or labelling equipment
Be familiar with shift work.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving and organisational abilities.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
