Role description:
AD Security Remediation Resource Responsibilities
* Analyze & Prioritize Findings
Review AD security findings, assess severity, and determine remediation actions.
* Implement Fixes
Apply configuration hardening, update GPOs, correct permissions, resolve insecure settings, and remediate privileged groups or service accounts.
* Clean Up AD Objects
Remove or fix stale, orphaned, or misconfigured accounts, computers, and SPNs.
* Coordinate Changes
Work with AD, IAM, platform, and application teams to validate and implement changes through proper change control processes.
* Document & Report
Record remediation steps, update tracking logs, and provide clear status updates to security and project stakeholders.
* Improve Sustainability
Recommend process improvements and help establish ongoing monitoring and governance to prevent recurrence
