An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join the successful and forward-thinking Computer Science department at an Outstanding secondary school in Derby. This full-time, permanent role starts in September 2025 and is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs passionate about delivering outstanding Computer Science education from KS3 to KS5.

We Are Looking For a Teacher Who:

Holds a degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject

*

Possesses QTS or PGCE

*

Is confident teaching Computer Science across KS3 to KS5, including GCSE and A-Level

Has a strong understanding of digital literacy, coding, programming, and computational thinking

*

Can deliver innovative and engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students

*

Is a reflective practitioner with excellent classroom management and communication skills

*

Enjoys working as part of a high-performing and supportive team
