About the Role

Zenith is proud to be supporting a long‑standing manufacturing client based in Jarrow, who is seeking a General Operative to join their busy Mixing Area. This part of the operation has been described as labour‑intensive, so the ideal candidate will be physically fit, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment.

Initial shifts will be Monday till Thursday 8am till 5pm & Friday 8am till 1pm while training with the company. This will be paid at £12.21

Once you go onto shifts (3 on 3 off days and nights) the pay will increase to £15.95.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing and measuring raw materials for mixing

* Safe and efficient operation of mixing equipment

* Manual handling and repetitive lifting of materials

* Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the mixing area

* Adhering to strict health, safety, and quality standards

* Supporting wider production activities when required

About You

* Able to work confidently in a physically demanding environment

* Experience in manufacturing or mixing environments is an advantage

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions

* Positive attitude and strong work ethic

* Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
