Freelance Site Manager – Northampton – 12-Month Project

Rate: £300.00 per day
Contract: Freelance, 12-month minimum – potential for longer-term opportunities

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a major new build healthcare project valued at £10 million at Northampton General Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, collaborative team known for delivering complex projects with precision and professionalism.

The Project:

A large-scale new build healthcare facility on a live hospital site. You’ll play a central role in ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery alongside a part-time Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing daily site activities and subcontractor coordination

*

Ensuring Health & Safety compliance across the site

*

Producing and implementing RAMS

*

Liaising with visiting Contracts Manager and client-side stakeholders

*

Maintaining quality standards and keeping the build on programme

*

Driving performance through proactive problem-solving and leadership

Requirements:

*

First Aid at Work (Essential)

*

CSCS Card (Essential)

*

SMSTS (Desirable)

*

Strong track record of running similar value projects

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
*Some flexibility may be required based on project demands.

PPE & Equipment:

All PPE and necessary equipment will be provided.
