Working in a cross-departmental role between the maintenance and despatch teams you will be responsible for general facility maintenance, labouring and providing general assistance both departments.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Decorating: painting walls and ceilings, touching up skirting boards and door frames

• Repairs and Maintenance: Building desks, chairs and carry out general upkeep and maintenance of the building and external grounds, mowing lawn, etc.

• Operating scales to accurately count parts by weight

• Picking parts from stock

• Following specific customer packing instructions

• Ensuring accuracy of stock through careful counting and location of stock

• Packing parts for storage or shipment to the customer

• Understanding and achieving the correct quality standards within the team

• Assisting in other departments when required

• To comply with Health and Safety requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Essential

• Good Time Management skill

• Problem solving

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a small team

• Ability to work without supervision

Desirable (Training can be provided)

• Previous experience of working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

• FLT license

• Scissor lift license

• Manual handling experience

OTHER JOB COMPONENTS

• The role will require reaching with hands and arms, stooping or kneeling, as well as lifting of materials and products
