Milk Education is working in partnership with secondary schools across Liverpool to recruit enthusiastic, driven, and compassionate Unqualified Teaching Assistants to join from Summer 2025 and into the new academic year.

Milk Education is excited to offer a unique opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to begin their journey in education as a Teaching Assistant – no formal qualifications required. This role is ideal for anyone considering a career in teaching or has a passion for supporting children and young adults.

The Role:

Work alongside experienced teachers to support pupils in and out of the classroom

Gain hands-on experience across primary or secondary settings

Assist with small group or one-to-one learning activities

Support students with SEN or additional needs

Have opportunities to lead lessons (with guidance), explore different schools, and build a solid foundation for a future teaching career

We're Looking For:

Passion for education and a desire to help young people thrive

Strong communication and a proactive, positive attitude

Experience working with children or young people (formal or informal – coaching, mentoring, youth work, etc.)

Commitment to ongoing development and learning

Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
