They operate across a broad range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Leisure and Defence, typically delivering projects in the £10m–£100m range.

You will be working on a £15m school project in Birmingham. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially and contractually responsible for the project, reporting into a visiting Managing Surveyor. An Assistant Surveyor will report directly to you.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and monthly reports

Managing variations and ensuring contractual compliance

*

Issuing and reviewing payment notices, interim valuations, and final accounts

*

Measurement and quantification of works in line with contract requirements

*

Liaising and managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants

*

Supporting project planning and forecasting, including risk and cost management

*

Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
