Night Nurse Services Manager | Fixed Term (1 Year)

Salary: £50,601 per annum

Make a Difference at Night:
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced nurse to step into a pivotal Night Manager role. This is an excellent chance to provide proactive and visible leadership during the night, whether you're already leading a team or ready for your first leap into site-wide clinical management.
As the Night Service Manager, you'll be the primary individual overseeing the entire site overnight, ensuring our high standards of care are consistently met. You'll work closely with nurses in charge and ward teams across all departments, with full support from on-call senior managers and doctors, to maintain and enhance care quality throughout the night.
Your Core Responsibilities:
* Swiftly and effectively manage all medical and psychiatric emergencies.
* Provide essential coaching and mentorship to team members.
* Conduct randomized spot checks to maintain high standards and ensure compliance.
* Oversee thorough handovers and ensure all documentation is accurate and timely.
* Actively participate in audits and personnel management.

Checklist for Success:
* Proven leadership and managerial abilities.
* Nursing qualification with current NMC registration (RMN or RNLD).
* Strong clinical background with demonstrable skills.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a mental health setting.
* Experience in Older People's Mental Health (OPMH) care or a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is highly desirable.
* Outstanding communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.
* Ability to work autonomously and make confident, informed decisions.
