Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a School Administrator for a local primary school based in Nelson.

About the School Administrator Role

Are you reliable, professional, and a strong communicator?

We’re looking for temporary School Administrator to join a friendly office based in a local secondary school.

Key Responsibilities of School Administrator:

* Provide high-quality and pro-active administrative and reception support when required.

* Administer the School’s calendar of events such as workshops and staff training. This includes booking rooms, ordering catering and liaising with external stakeholders as required.

* Receive visitors and provide any appropriate hospitality.

* Consider incoming requests, correspondence and other documentation in order to determine significance and plan distribution. Respond / draft responses as appropriate.

* Maintain records and relevant databases of contacts and activities as appropriate.

* Maintain records of safety assessments for the School.

* Assist with the review, development and implementation of administrative procedures and processes.

Requirements of School Administrator:

* Excellent attention to detail and punctuality

* Strong communication skills

* Ability to remain calm and professional in a structured environment

* Previous experience in school environment

* Must be able to commit to working full-time
