The below job description will outline this position of: Gate Automation Engineer
Typically, this person will install, maintain, and service a wide range of automated perimeter security systems. They will work on-site across commercial, industrial, and high-security premises, delivering high-quality installations and reactive maintenance across gates, barriers, turnstiles, bollards, and access control systems.

Duties and responsibilities of the Gate Automation Engineer:
• Installation, commissioning, and servicing of automated gates, barriers, bollards, and turnstiles
• Installation, programming, and maintenance of access control systems and associated safety devices
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on live automation systems
• Carrying out preventive maintenance and reactive callouts
• Liaising with clients on-site and completing accurate job documentation
Qualifications and requirements for the Gate Automation Engineer:
• Proven experience in gate automation or perimeter security engineering
• Strong electrical fault-finding and mechanical skills
• Experience with access control, safety circuits, and automation systems
• Full UK driving licence
