Are you a graduate with strong communication skills, excellent behaviour management, and a desire to inspire and support young learners?
We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas. This role is perfect for individuals who are looking for flexible or long-term teaching opportunities, and who are passionate about education.
You'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing pupil behaviour, and creating a positive learning environment when regular teachers are absent.
Secondary Subjects Covered Include:

General Cover (non-specialist, flexible subject coverage)

English

Maths

Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

Geography

History

Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, German)

PE

Design & Technology

Art

Music

Computer Science

Business Studies
We also offer placements in:

Primary Education (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver set lessons confidently across a range of subjects and year groups

Manage classroom behaviour effectively and professionally

Inspire, motivate, and engage pupils in the absence of the class teacher

Adapt to different school environments and student needs

Report back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
Requirements:

A degree (essential)

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Passion for teaching and inspiring young people

Fully adaptable and confident across different subjects and school settings

Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable)

A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

Right to work in the UK
