Senior First Aid (Maternity Cover)

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Senior first aider to cover maternity leave at a long-standing Secondary School in Oxfordshire.

First Aid Responsibilities;
- Provision of medical care to students and staff
- Replenish Medical Supplies
- Storage of students’ prescribed medication
- On site treatment of minor injuries
- Provision of first aid packs to leaders of school trips
- Maintain an accurate record on medical system
- Providing the school with up to date medical records on all students in liaison with parents and other health professionals
- Maintaining records on medical and first aid training undertaken by staff
- Preparing and completing individual care plans for students with special medical needs
- Completing health and safety records of accidents and injuries occurring on site.

First Aid Requirements;
- Have or obtain an Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Experience as a first aider
- Experience working with young adults / children
-Ability to form and maintain appropriate working relationships

Additional Information;
- £12.80 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
- Monday – Friday 8am until 4pm
- Term time only + INSET Days
- This role is offered on a Maternity Cover basis, initially for a 10 months period, however this may change slightly
