The Role – Room Leader

As a Room Leader, you will:

Lead and inspire a team of practitioners within your designated room

Ensure the highest standards of care, learning and development are delivered

Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework

Monitor, assess and record children’s progress

Build strong partnerships with parents and carers

Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment

Support the nursery management team with day-to-day room operations

Requirements

To be considered for this Room Leader position, you must have:

A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare / Early Years (essential)

Previous experience working as a Room Leader or significant experience as a Senior Practitioner ready to step up

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

Excellent leadership and communication skills

A passion for providing outstanding childcare

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

The ability to work collaboratively within a team
