The School and Role

This welcoming primary school in Birkenhead are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to work in a Year 3 class on a full-time basis.  The role will start at the beginning of the next Academic Year, and will be Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30-pm.  This is a one form entry school catering for children from 3 – 11 years of age.  Their aim is to foster a love of learning in all of their children through understanding their learning styles, interests and offering the appropriate level of challenge and support for each individual child.  The school pride themselves on being a friendly school where all adults, from lunch time staff to the headteacher, quickly get to know all of their children.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
