Job Vacancy: Family Support Worker (School-Based)
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Contract: Initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension
Start Date: As soon as possible
We are seeking an experienced Family Support Worker to join our school-based team in Liverpool. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families by providing early intervention and support within the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Early Help Assessments (EHAs) and lead on support plans for families
Work directly with children and families to identify needs and help them access the right services
Build strong partnerships with school staff, external agencies, and the local authority
Monitor progress and maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding proceduresAbout You:
Proven experience in completing Early Help Assessments
A strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, and multi-agency working
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
