We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Accounts Manager to lead their General Accounts function within a well-established and reputable accounting practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded and strategic professional to take a senior leadership role, overseeing client delivery, team performance, and operational efficiency across the accounts function.

The role offers a high level of autonomy and influence, working closely with partners and senior stakeholders to drive practice growth and service excellence. As the Accounts Manager, you will be:

* Supervise and support staff, including workload allocation, training, and performance reviews.

* Maintain and improve internal processes to enhance client service delivery.

* Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring queries are resolved promptly and professionally.

* Assist partners with strategic planning, compliance, and business development initiatives.

* Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and professional guidelines.

As the Accounts Manager, you will have:

* ACCA/ACA Qualifications

* Previous management experience within an accountancy practice or professional services environment.

* Strong organisational and time-management skills.

* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

* Excellent client relationship management skills.

* Knowledge of accountancy practice operations and compliance requirements.
