Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher looking for a flexible, part-time role with long-term stability? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Harrow is seeking a teacher to join the team in a permanent job-share position (2 days per week) starting in September 2025.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working closely with a job-share partner to co-lead a Year 1 class. You will share responsibility for planning, assessment, and the overall progress of pupils, ensuring continuity and consistency throughout the week.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

Collaborate effectively with your job-share partner to ensure seamless teaching and communication

*

Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress

*

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

*

Build strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a teacher who:

*

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

*

Is a strong communicator and team player, able to collaborate effectively within a job-share model

*

Demonstrates flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to teaching

*

Is committed to creating a nurturing learning environment and supporting each child's progress
