We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analysing structures, ensuring that they are safe and meet all relevant codes and standards.
Structural Engineer Role Overview:
* Producing design solutions from initial conception, through to design completion for structural engineering projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
* Design and analyse structures using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000
* A good working knowledge of TEKLA TEDDS, TSD
* Ensure that structures are safe and meet all relevant codes and standards
* Work with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that designs are feasible and meet project requirements
* Prepare technical reports for clients
Structural Engineer Role Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Minimum 2 years of experience in structural engineering, post-qualification experience ideally gained within a consultancy environment
* Chartered or Progressing towards Chartership
* Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
* Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Proficient in AutoCAD
* Good communication skills and written English.
* Ability to work in a team to solve problems that matter
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
Structural Engineer Salary & Benefits:
* Salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience
* 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and a Christmas shutdown period
* 36.5 hours working week with 4pm finish on Fridays
