Teaching Assistant KS1

Are you passionate about helping children develop their education?
Perhaps you want paid experience before deciding if teaching is for you?Academics are currently looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with a warm and welcoming primary school in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will be able to work alongside the teacher to ensure that the objectives of lessons are met. In addition to this, you will be expected to work with pupils in both groups and 1:1 and be a role model for all the children in the school.

About the role

Working in groups and individually with pupils
Support to teacher to implement their lesson plans
Be a positive influence around the school
Provide written and verbal feedback to pupils
Promote inclusivity
Monday to Friday 8.30 to 15.30Qualities and experiences

Experience of working in a classroom (desirable but not essential)
Undergraduate degree (desirable but not essential)
Follow safeguarding protocols when necessary
Be capable of developing and maintaining professional relationships
