An exciting opportunity exists for a Health and Safety Advisor to lead the delivery of Health, Safety and Environment for an industry leading engineering company based in Heathrow Airport on NIGHTS . This would be a great place to further your career in Health and Safety.

As they continue to grow, they are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Health and Safety Advisor to join the team and help drive their commitment to a safe and compliant working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.

* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

* Provide expert advice and support to managers and staff on all health and safety matters.

* Investigate incidents and near misses and produce detailed reports with recommendations.

* Deliver health and safety training and inductions for employees and contractors.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and standards.

* Promote a positive health and safety culture across the organization.

* Supporting a safe and engaging work environment across the business.

* Carry out regular site inspections and making changes to work practices to ensure compliance with both company policies and procedures and relevant legislation.

As this role is based in Heathrow Airport the successful Health and Safety advisor would need the following:

* Be able to provide 5 years employment history.

* Pass a basic DBS check

Requirements:

* EBOSH General Certificate or level 6 diploma in health and safety or equivalent.

* Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role.

* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation

* Excellent communication, reporting, and influencing skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
