Role Overview
The Head of Sales will be responsible for designing and executing the company’s sales strategy, managing high-value client relationships, and leading a small, dedicated sales team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, securing major contracts, and delivering revenue growth in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan across target sectors
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maximise revenue growth within key accounts
Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
Lead and develop the internal sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets
Prepare tenders, bids, and manage negotiations for large-scale contracts
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadershipCandidate Requirements
Extensive experience in sales leadership
Demonstrable success in winning contracts and growing revenue
Strong commercial and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
Knowledge of construction processes, project lifecycles, and tendering
Proven leadership and team management skills
